Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CabCount, a tax and accounting platform for UK taxi and private hire drivers, operated by Iinovex Technologies Ltd (Company No. 17195769), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ ("CabCount", "we", "us", "our").
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account or using CabCount, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The Service
CabCount helps UK taxi and private hire drivers track income, expenses, mileage, and estimated tax liabilities, and provides tools to support (but not replace) your tax filing obligations. CabCount is available on a Sole Trader plan and a Limited Company plan, with an optional Accountant plan for accountants managing linked driver clients.
3. Not Professional Tax or Accounting Advice
CabCount provides estimates and organisational tools based on the information you enter and HMRC guidance we believe to be current at the time. CabCount is not a substitute for a qualified accountant or tax adviser, and does not constitute professional tax, legal, or financial advice. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax filings and for meeting your HMRC obligations. We strongly recommend independent verification of any figures before relying on them for a submission to HMRC.
4. Accounts and Trials
New accounts begin with a 7-day free trial. After the trial ends, continued use requires an active paid subscription. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
5. Subscription Fees and Billing
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, depending on your selected plan) via Stripe. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with reasonable notice. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.
6. Your Data and Content
You retain ownership of the financial data, receipts, and records you upload to CabCount. You grant us a licence to process this data solely to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information you provide.
7. Accountant Access
If you link your account to an accountant via the Accountant Portal, you are authorising that accountant to view the financial data and tax estimates associated with your account. You can revoke this access at any time from your dashboard.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use CabCount only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CabCount and Iinovex Technologies Ltd are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including any penalties, interest, or additional tax liability arising from reliance on estimates provided by the platform. 10. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the dashboard. Continued use of CabCount after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
